Disciples making Disciples

At Mount Hermon, we believe that we are a Priesthood of all believers, and that we all need to grow in the faith as such. In a world increasingly hostile to the Gospel of Christ, it is more important than ever for believers to have a strong foundation for their faith, able to give a reason for their hope with humility. The greatest way to grow that foundation is in the community of believers coming together.

Our Sunday School classes offer small group study and discussion environments for adults of all ages, with leaders being people who have proven their maturity in the faith, while still allowing opportunities for those of less experience and knowledge a chance to contribute in discussion, or to lead a class on occasion.

Sunday worship is the time that we come together as believers to praise our Savior, the one true God, Father, Son, and Spirit. We sing, we pray, and we learn the Word and what it has to say to us. We are a people who value living life peacefully, simply, and together, in a way that shows the difference that Christ has made in the life of believers.

Wednesday night Bible study has grown in attendance, as well as depth of teaching, over the last few years. It is here that more difficult issues can be taken on, as everyone can have a chance to speak their thoughts on a given topic. This does lead to a chance of being proven wrong, but correction is necessary if we are to walk the path Jesus lays before us.

Choir practice is Wednesday nights at 6 P.M. All are welcome to join in who wish to praise our Creator.

Sunday nights have special services that will be announced in advance.
